About Whisper Flow
Whisper Flow replaces typing with speaking system-wide — in email, chat, code editors, anywhere a text cursor blinks — using an on-device speech model with a hotkey to start and stop. It auto-punctuates, learns your vocabulary and jargon over time, and runs fast enough to keep pace with normal speech.
Before you buy
Does it work inside any app, or just its own window?
Any app with a text cursor — email, Slack, a code editor, a browser field — since it types the words in for you rather than opening a separate window.
Does my voice data leave my machine?
Recognition runs on-device once the model is downloaded, so ongoing dictation does not need a live connection.
